About TrueSellerPrice
TrueSellerPrice is a set of free pricing calculators for people who sell online: on marketplaces such as Amazon, Etsy and eBay, or in their own Shopify store. The goal is simple: help sellers find a price that covers every cost and fee and still leaves the profit they want, and show exactly how each number was reached.
How the calculators work
Every calculator uses the same pricing engine. It separates costs that do not depend on your price (product, packaging, shipping, fixed fees) from charges that do (commissions, payment processing, advertising), and solves for the price that meets a target instead of adding a markup to cost. It supports:
- prices with or without VAT or sales tax, and shipping charged to the buyer;
- fees charged on the item price, the order total, before or after tax, with minimums and tiers;
- per-unit costs, percentage costs and monthly costs spread over expected sales;
- supplier costs in another currency, using an exchange rate you enter.
Money is calculated with decimal arithmetic and rounded to the currency's smallest unit, and target prices are rounded up so they never fall short of the target. The engine is covered by automated tests, and the worked examples in our guides are calculated by the same code when the page is built, so the text matches the calculator.
Where fee values come from
The calculators never fill in fees by themselves. On each platform calculator, a clearly labelled button loads typical US fees together with the date they were checked and a link to the platform's official fee page. These values were taken from third-party summaries of the official pages, because we could not read every official page directly when they were checked. Fees differ by category, country, plan and date, so please confirm them before relying on a result. If you spot an outdated value, let us know.
Your data
The calculators run in your browser. What you type is not sent to our servers or stored, and no account is needed. See the privacy policy for what the website itself processes, including advertising cookies where ads are shown.
What the results are, and are not
Results are estimates for decision support based on the numbers you enter. They are not tax, legal or accounting advice, and they cannot know costs you leave out. TrueSellerPrice does not fetch or scrape competitor prices; the comparison tool works only with prices you type in.

TrueSellerPrice is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Amazon, Etsy, Shopify, eBay or any other platform mentioned. The site may show advertising to stay free. Ads are labelled, are never placed inside the calculators, and do not influence the calculations or the content of our guides.
